EPLAN Harness proD is a modern three-dimensional design software for efficient wiring harness design and documentation. The advantage of this system is that the steps from importing wiring list from EPLAN Platform to generating wiring, generating related documents and publishing two-dimensional drawings are automated. The ability to collect mechanical information within various MCAD systems and to connect with ECAD means that EPLAN Harness proD has the potential to seamlessly integrate into PDM environments. This allows the design of cable harness even when there is no available mechanical prototype. In short: development time is shortened, productivity is increased and project quality is improved on a continuous basis.
